Behavior Plan
Behavior Plan
Our Classroom Agreements:
1. Attentive Listening
2. Appreciation/ No Put Downs
3. Right to Pass/ Participate
4. Mutual Respect
Our Classroom Rules:
1. Stay on task and follow directions immediately
2. Be seated and prepared for class before the tardy bell rings
3. Wait to be recognized before speaking
4. Show respect always
To encourage students to follow our class agreements, we will support appropriate behavior, with teacher praise, positive notes home, participation in classroom games, and end of six weeks reward days.
However, if a student chooses to break an agreement, the following steps will be taken:
1st consequence = warning
2nd consequence = warning and parent notification and 30 minute detention
3rd consequence = parent contact and 45 minute detention
4th consequence = referral to the office
++ Severe disruption = immediate removal from class and taken to the office
An office referral within six weeks will result in the loss of the classroom privileges and a “U” in conduct. **If this discipline plan is not effective, changes in the plan will be made when deemed necessary.**
The conduct grade is assigned in accordance with the student’s overall behavior. Each student is given a letter grade of S, N, or U.
S=Satisfactory N= Needs Improvement U= Unsatisfactory
